MTN has advised customers to be watchful of several fake Twitter accounts posing as MTN Nigeria.
In an official statement, the telecommunications giant noted that customers should only use their official platforms.
“Our attention has been drawn to several fake Twitter accounts
posing as MTN Nigeria and sharing fraudulent, malicious
messages.
“Please note that these accounts have no connection to MTN.
Our verified official platforms are MTN Nigeria on Facebook,
@mtnng on Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok and our official website
www.mtnonline.com,” the statement read.
Recall that MTN had recently unveiled the mPulse Spelling Bee competition, which promises to award over N5Million cash prize.
