MTN Unveils ‘0913’ Network Prefix

MTN Nigeria has launched the 0913 network prefix for potential customers.

As number ranges for a prefix are exhausted, new prefixes are created to allow for more numbers.

Recall that in March, MTN unveiled three network prefixes, 0704, 07025, 07026, which were formerly for visaphone numbers.

With the inclusion of the new 0913 network prefix, MTN’s prefix tally is 14.

Hence, with the introduction of the 0913 network prefix, potential subscribers can purchase their new MTN lines, and opt to have their number with the Prefix.

We expect MTN’s new network prefix to be embedded in sim cards soon.
