The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the results for West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2020.
The council had earlier announced on Sunday, November 1 that the results will be released Today, November 2, by 10:30am.
That was after it posponed a planned release scheduled for October 28, due to the curfew imposed consequentially by EndSARS protests.
The release which was in fulfillment to WAEC’s Project 45 had to be postponed by one week, on which date was made known on Sunday, November 1,
WAEC Head of National Office, Patrick Areghan, announced the release of results of WASSCE SC, 2020 at the WAEC National Office, Lagos.
According to him, the results are being uploaded on the results website.
“Candidates who sat the examination and who have fufilled their financial obligations to the Council can access their performance on the Council’s website: www.waecdirect.org.
“The Result Checker PIN and Serial Number required by students to check their results online are contained are contained on the Candidate’s Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination.
“Certificates of candidates whose results have been fully processed and released will be ready within the next 90 days counting from today,” Areghan said.
He appreciated Stakeholders for support in making support in making the examination “a hugh success”.
