While growing up as a child, there was this feeling about Christmas that always brought joy to my soul.
The songs, rhymes, foods, fun, showcasing of new clothes, and a lot more were so thrilling to me then and even right now.
As December approaches, children all over the globe always bank on the astonishment, surprise, fun, and joy that Christmas brings.
Christmas always has a way of intruding on a child’s whole being, bringing joy to him/her.
Every child wants a situation whereby gifts are brought to him/her from different angles, food and delicacies are served or an excursion is being embarked upon.
Some children see it as an opportunity to stay away from studying and concentrate on anything that brings fun to them e.g. games, movies, sports, and a lot more. This sometimes affects either little or large on them.
In some parts of the world, some kids see it as an opportunity to witness winter. Christmas without winter is like watching football on television when you have the opportunity to watch it in reality.
Though it is not highly needed, it adds more ingredients into the pot of fun.
Children in areas that experience winter always look forward to it; the snowballing, ice-skiing, modeling of snowman, and a lot more.
But still, children in areas that don’t experience winter have their way of gaining the pleasure and fun that Christmas brings.
However, the joy that Christmas brings is being maximized when observed together as a family.
For instance, a nice family Christmas trip or excursion would always remain alive in a child’s memory. This is worth more than receiving, or giving out toys, presents, gifts, or nice clothes (which will later gain dust).
Having a nice Christmas family tradition adds more value to a child.
