Having an introvert teen or friend can really be difficult to deal with, especially If they are of the extreme type.

Sometimes you feel they get worse during festive periods. No, they have not gotten any worse. It’s the season that changed. This period can really be exhausting for introverts and it begins to look as if they hate people. No they don’t, they just don’t know any other way to be themselves.

We’re going to see few ways we can help our introverts get through the Christmas Season

Do not take them to too many occasions

Marriage ceremonies, Burials, etc. These are cool, but for your introvertish teen. It can be tiring!

Let them plan their day and make schedules . An occasion is okay in three days or two parties a week. This will help the introvert teen a lot.

Give some free time

After attending so many occasions, They might become so strained that it affects their behavioural patterns and attitudes. Please don’t be mad.

Just give them some free time. Leave them to bed for at least one or two hours a day. So that they can unwind and continue the day’s activities.

Introverts are not weird, they are humans. So, they can have it all, too.

Less introductions

Your friend is likely to be less of a communicator. Take them to a party and they are likely to stay at the table till the party ends. Just introduce them to one person at a time. Do not suffocate.

Let them connect with people gradually..

Give space for the Spiritual

Your Friend/teen needs a Spiritual Refreshing daily. Christmas season is a Celebration of God’s plan. Let your teen feel it.

Allow them to go out and view nature. Take a long walk with your friend/teen.
