It is no news how beautiful Nigeria is. The artistic landscape, resources (both human and natural), dynamic culture, and Lifestyle are as thought-provoking as they are a sight to behold.

The country, though in recent times has been through a lot, especially from the outbreak of the pandemic in 2020. Howbeit, If the enthusiasm witnessed on new year’s eve were to be considered, I will say it was a sign of greater things to come.

Nigeria still houses some of the best tourist destinations in Africa! Tourism tends better as the country is gradually adapting to the post-pandemic life and more places are opening up. To start your exploring this year, I have a few places, to begin with:

Explore the Beauty of Abuja City

Abuja, the federal capital of Nigeria, is a small beautiful city. There are a lot of things to do and places to visit. Abuja is home to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and a Currency Museum. Have a little fun at Abuja Millennium Park. You can also visit the local markets such as Wuse Market and get stuff you can keep as souvenirs.

Breath in the Freshness of Calabar

Calabar, situated in south-south Nigeria is the capital of Cross River state. This beautiful city is home to some exciting places. Explore the nation’s rich culture at the National Museum. Relax at the Cross River National Park and take in the view. While still at Calabar, make a quick stop at Duke town Church.

Experience Nature at Yankari Game Reserve

Yankari Game Reserve is a wildlife conservation that houses many wildlife and forestry in their natural habitat. This meet-with-nature is situated in the heart of Bauchi State. There are lots and lots of species of wildlife and natural elements like warm-water springs. You will need a tour guide to move around the 2,244 kilometers square of the Reserve.

Experience the Bustle of Lagos

Are you looking for a little bit of action? Visit Lagos. This city is full of thrills, excitement, and fun places. It’s a whole package. The nightlife is quite a sight! And the people? Lagos is one of the largest and most populous cities in Nigeria. There are so many activities and places to visit. From restaurants to nightclubs to taverns and world-class hotels! Lagos has everything!

Bask in the Uniqueness of Port Harcourt

Port Harcourt is the capital of Rivers state and one of the busiest cities in Nigeria. The exceptional thing about this city is the vast language system, the communities, and the people in general. Port Harcourt is a city of hustlers but the sandy beaches, the sometimes clear, sometimes muddy waters, the suburbs, all call towards tourism. And what more? There are tons of exciting places to visit!
