The Nigeria French Village at Ajara, Badagry Lagos State held its Students’ Distinguished Award Ceremony on Friday, July 29, 2022.
The Nigeria French Village at Badary is a tertiary institution that features over 34 schools (including universities and colleges of education). Students are admitted from these schools to acquire practical skills on the use of french language to communicate.
The award ceremony was brought to life by the Director of Nigeria French Language Village, Prof Ayeleru, the Dean of student affairs, Monsieur Sanni Moshood and other great elites.
The ceremony started with the singing of the Nigerian Anthem, followed by the French Anthem. Thereafter, Awards were distributed to distinguished students.
Musical icon of the year was awarded to Omijie Blessing John (Vice president of the SRC), Social Media Influencer of the Year was won by Iwedike Priscilla popularly known as Ink_Jet, Student of the Year, Political Icon of the Year was awarded to Nwachiri Chioma Jennifer Most enterprising female of the year, Eseosa Obaese, Most influential student of the year, Oke Aduragbemi.
Awards were also given to academic students who had great performance, which includes Best Student of Each University including Colleges of Education, and also the Student of the Year.
