I pity students a lot during the period of exams, they hardly sleep at night.
Most of the time they take caffeine every time which may cause health problems when consumed consistently.
How then can you stay awake at night during your exam period without drinking caffeine?
As humans, we have different kinds of bodies naturally. We must first understand that you are different from Mr. B. Our bodies have different ways of reacting to some kinds of activities.
Someone like me, I don’t like reading at night because I barely assimilate. Also, I prefer reading where it’s noisy.
I know a lot of people might not adapt to my kind of way of reading but it works for me a lot.
Before you decide to start awake at night, discover your nature, and what you adapt to. If you understand this it will be very difficult for you to force yourself to read at night.
If you force yourself to take caffeine, you are risking a lot of health problems. There’s a saying that “Prevention is better than cure,”
If you still want to stay awake at night at night without taking caffeine you can:
- SLEEP DURING THE DAY: This might not work for everyone, but you can try it. It’s better than taking caffeine at all times.
- READ WITH FRIENDS: You can look for friends who read actively at night, it will be very possible for you to stay awake. They will be the ones to motivate you and probably interact together and solve questions together.
- TAKE A WALK: To be honest if you want to read for real at night you should not lie down at all, because you won’t know when you will sleep off. You can walk around your room and all.
- HYDRATE: As it is noticed, the cause of sleepiness might be because of dehydration. To assure that you don’t sleep off while studying, remain hydrated throughout the day.
Don’t put yourself at risk of getting health problems, discover yourself and know what works for you. Your health matters.
