There were days when our conscience will prick us on this type of odd living.
Sometimes, if we stayed for the break inside the classroom, we would move around and do the biro or pencil trading. We will bet with our so-called- rich tender peers of ours. They will accept, so we created a fearful impression for them and threatened, to report them to our senior tribesmen in the higher classes.
Lol! If only they knew it was just a sunny threat with no warmth or shine.
So, we will ask them street-wise questions but they usually seemed lost or unaware. You could call them easy prey to us. They just did not know how to express themselves. Their words were like twisted twines within their mind to articulate what seemed like a long tray of decayed edibles.
Everything was always available to them no need to express their wants. We just always felt like they had a better life than us. So were always angry at them. Well maybe, if they could self-defend, voice- out, negotiate or solve- problems the way we did.
We could have been a blend of good friends. So, we had lots of fun trampling on their weakness! It was an innocent try at first but it became fun ( or maybe just one of the habits of the woods.) Now, I wish I could have used my primary years for profitable use.
I write all these memories now, but with regrets at the waste of the formative years. I stare at the mirror and look at the baggage of my childhood that must be thrown into the ocean of forgetfulness.
Still, I rise! To become a truly kind and passionate human! Not to be a bully! Every trance of it is to be intentionally questioned by a series of generated questions.
I choose to rise to my highest self. Now, I will drop the pen to become more!
The End.
