Amazon Web Services (AWS) has commenced its second cohort of applications for the scholarship program on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
AWS is teaming up with Udacity to award 2,500 students scholarships in 2024. Students learn in-demand AI/ML training, enabling hands-on skills and career advancement through industry mentorships and support.
The Amazon Web Services Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Scholarship program aims to help students who are underrepresented and underserved in tech learn foundational machine learning concepts as they prepare for a career in one of today’s hottest and fastest-growing fields.
The scholarship covers full tuition for Udacity’s Nanodegree program. At each stage, students will gain AI knowledge and receive professional coaching.
The program is designed to help anyone get started with Machine Learning (ML) with no prior technical knowledge required.
“Whether you’re new to AI or looking to break into the field, the AWS AI & ML Scholarship program, in collaboration with Udacity, helps students globally to learn foundational skills to prepare for careers in technology.
“Through a comprehensive AI training program designed by AWS experts, students will get hands-on with real-world projects, learn from industry mentors, and access career resources,” AWS stated on its official scholarship page.
To start the application, students should opt into the scholarship program when signing in to AWS DeepRacer Student, Complete prerequisites to unlock their unique application code, and then submit scholarship application on Udacity using the unique code.
Note that applications close on September 30, 2024.
