FirstBank is set to host its 6th annual Fintech Summit, themed “Banking on Partnerships,” on November 13 and 14, 2024.
This two-day event promises engaging sessions, keynote speeches, and invaluable networking opportunities.
As part of this summit, FirstBank is launching the Fintech Innovators Pitch Programme, designed to support early-stage fintech startups and foster innovation in Nigeria’s financial services ecosystem.
The Fintech Innovators Pitch Programme offers selected startups intensive training, mentorship, and the chance to pitch their solutions to FirstBank, investors, and industry leaders.
Winners will receive strategic assistance, resources, and network access from FirstBank to bring their products to market.
To participate in the programme, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be an early-stage fintech startup (idea stage, working prototype, early traction, early revenue, or seed stage)
- Be based in Lagos and available for pitch preparation and pitch sessions
Selected winners will receive:
- Partnership with FirstBank for market guidance and collaboration
- Strategic support, resources, and network access
- Additional prizes and perks from select partners
- Exposure to potential early-stage investors
- National media coverage
Key timelines for the programme are:
- Application deadline: Sunday, October 27, 2024 (23:59 WAT)
- Selection announcement: Monday, November 4, 2024 (top 10 applicants notified)
- Pitch preparation: November 8, 2024 (in-person training)
- Pitch Day: November 13, 2024 (Summit Day 1)
- Winners announcement: November 14, 2024 (Summit Day 2).
