Meet The Infinix GT 30 Pro: A Gaming Flagship Smartphone

Infinix has unveiled the GT 30 Pro, the third generation of its GT Series, built for gamers who want more power, control, and endurance. It is the first GT model to pair a true all day, full frame rate system with the new GT Trigger, setting a fresh standard for midrange gaming performance.

While gaming is its core, the GT 30 Pro also doubles as a versatile daily driver. It features a 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED screen, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate 5.5G, fast wired and wireless charging, a 108MP camera setup, and One Tap Infinix AI tools in a cyber mechanical chassis that looks as bold as it performs. “As mobile esports rises globally, we built a device for passionate players,” said Weiqi Nie, Product Director at Infinix. “From stable high frame rates to smart controls, the GT 30 Pro is our most complete gaming flagship yet, battle tested on the esports stage to help players outplay the rest.”

Launching alongside the phone is the GT Gaming Master Edition, a curated bundle that pushes mobile performance even further. It includes the MagCharge Cooler, a magnetic snap on cooling fan with smart voltage control for up to 30 percent more efficient heat removal, and the MagCase, a thermally optimized case that maintains compatibility with magnetic accessories. Connect the cooler to trigger Draco Mode for simultaneous wireless charging and active cooling, and you get a sustained high FPS experience. With Infinix 3D Vapor Cloud Chamber Cooling and up to 24GB extended RAM, titles like MLBB and PUBG MOBILE can run at officially certified 120FPS with fluid stability and minimal heat buildup.

Control gets an upgrade too. The new GT Trigger integrates capacitive shoulder buttons into the frame for precise, low latency input, ideal for aiming, firing, gear switching, or skill activation. It supports four and six finger layouts, and a long press on both triggers can instantly launch a preset game. Outside gaming, the triggers work as shortcuts for actions like opening apps, snapping photos, or managing media. A 2160Hz touch sampling rate, 240Hz reporting, and a six axis gyro enable ultra responsive motion controls for racing, shooters, and action titles.

Under the hood, the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate 5.5G teams up with a refined thermal design and connectivity upgrades including 5.5G speeds, Super WiFi 2.0, and a 360 degree antenna layout to keep gameplay smooth, streams stable, and multitasking cool. On the software side, Infinix adds smart tools like Magic Voice Changer, dynamic backlighting with over 14 gaming modes, and XBOOST AI tuning. AI Magic Box functions support titles such as Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail with dialogue skipping, auto loot, and recovery helpers. X Haptics 4D vibration, Audio Boost, and Game Visual Boost sharpen feedback, amplify sound cues, and enhance visibility while reducing eye strain. XArena Game Space provides a distraction free environment.

Design is a headline feature. Offered in Shadow Ash, Blade White, and RGB lit Dark Flare, the device uses a CNC crafted chassis with mechanical textures and sci fi accents. At the center is Mechanical Light Waves, a reactive lighting system with electrochromic highlights and circuit like patterns that responds across 14 usage scenarios and over 20 effects for calls, messages, charging, music, and in game events. The 1.5K AMOLED display delivers a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, TÜV Rheinland eye comfort certification, HDR support, 10 bit color, and up to 4500 nits peak brightness for vivid, smooth visuals in any light.

Beyond the arena, a 5500mAh battery (5200mAh in some regions) supports 45W wired and 30W wireless charging. Bypass Charging 2.0 routes power directly to the motherboard during gaming to lower heat and preserve battery health. The camera system pairs a 108MP main sensor with an 8MP ultra wide and a 13MP front camera, complemented by AI tools for object removal, cutouts, and photo expansion to streamline content creation.

One Tap Infinix AI, powered by Folax and DeepSeek R1, ushers the device into a new generation with document summarization, AI photo edits, cross language call translation, AI wallpapers, and contextual search. Running on the refreshed XOS 15, the GT 30 Pro promises faster launches, smarter memory use, and a calmer, nature inspired UI. Infinix commits to two years of Android updates and three years of security patches for added peace of mind.

The broader GT VERSE ecosystem also grows with the XPAD GT tablet, GTBUDS 4 earbuds, and GTPOWER charger. The XPAD GT brings a Snapdragon 888, a 144Hz display, 3D surround audio, a 10000mAh battery with VC cooling, and Infinix AI on a larger canvas. GTBUDS 4 add a low latency game mode, 30dB ANC, and cyber lighting, while GTPOWER offers 55W charging with AI temperature management and multi device support, extending Infinix mobile first gaming vision.

In Nigeria, the Infinix GT 30 Pro is available in select stores in Blade White, Shadow Ash, and Dark Flare with a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. Founded in 2013, Infinix focuses on youthful, design forward tech that blends performance with style. Its portfolio spans smartphones, TWS earbuds, smartwatches, laptops, tablets, smart TVs, and more, now sold in over 70 countries across Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.
