Pakhtakor 2-6 Al-Nassr: João Félix Stars as Saudi Giants Run Riot in Tashkent

Pakhtakor vs Al-Nassr turned into a goal-filled encounter on Monday, 2nd of November 2026 as the Saudi Arabian side produced a commanding 6-2 victory in the AFC Champions League Elite.

Al-Nassr wasted little time taking control at the Pakhtakor Markaziy Stadium in Tashkent, scoring three times in the opening 32 minutes. João Félix was at the centre of the attacking display, scoring twice in the first half, while Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Abdulelah Al-Amri, Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Ângelo also found the net.

Pakhtakor managed two goals through Flamarion and Dostonbek Khamdamov, but they could not contain Al-Nassr's attack as the visitors secured their second consecutive win in the competition.

Al-Nassr Make a Flying Start

The visitors needed only 15 minutes to break the deadlock.

Abdullah Al-Hamdan finished from João Félix's assist to give Al-Nassr an early advantage. Two minutes later, Félix got on the scoresheet himself, doubling the lead and putting Pakhtakor under serious pressure.

The early goals changed the complexion of the match as Pakhtakor were forced to chase the game while Al-Nassr were able to exploit the spaces opening up behind the home defence.

Félix then struck again in the 32nd minute. The Portuguese forward combined with Sadio Mané before finding the net for his second goal of the evening. At 3-0, Al-Nassr appeared to be heading towards a comfortable victory.

Pakhtakor did respond before half-time, however. Flamarion pulled one back in the 36th minute after receiving a pass from Sherzod Nasrullaev. The goal gave the home side some hope, but Al-Nassr still went into the break with a 3-1 advantage.

João Félix Leads Al-Nassr's Attacking Charge

The standout performer of the first half was undoubtedly João Félix. The Portuguese forward was involved in three of Al-Nassr's first four goals, scoring twice and providing the assist for Al-Hamdan's opener.

His movement created problems for the Pakhtakor defence throughout the match, while his link-up play with Sadio Mané gave Al-Nassr another route through the home side's defence.

Félix's second goal, assisted by Mané, was important because it restored Al-Nassr's two-goal advantage after Pakhtakor had begun to fight their way back into the contest.

The Saudi side also showed that they did not need Cristiano Ronaldo to produce a devastating attacking performance. Ronaldo was not involved in the match, but Al-Nassr still had more than enough attacking quality to overwhelm their opponents.

Al-Nassr Finish the Job After the Break

If Pakhtakor hoped to mount a comeback after half-time, Al-Nassr quickly ended those hopes.

Abdulelah Al-Amri made it 4-1 in the 53rd minute, heading home from another dangerous attacking situation. João Félix was again involved, providing the assist for the defender's goal. Nine minutes later, Abdulrahman Ghareeb added a fifth. The substitute had come on at half-time and made an immediate impact, scoring after combining with Sadio Mané. At 5-1, the contest was effectively beyond Pakhtakor.

The hosts did manage to reduce the deficit again in the 75th minute when Dostonbek Khamdamov scored to make it 5-2. Yet again, Al-Nassr had the final word. Ângelo Gabriel completed the scoring in the 79th minute after receiving a pass from Al-Hamdan, restoring Al-Nassr's four-goal advantage and putting the finishing touch on a remarkable away performance.

What the Pakhtakor vs Al-Nassr Result Means

The Pakhtakor 2-6 Al-Nassr result carries significant weight for both teams in the AFC Champions League Elite. The victory represents another step forward in the competition for Al-Nassr after the Saudi side secured a second consecutive win. Their six-goal performance also underlined the depth of their attacking options.

The biggest positives from the match include:

  • João Félix scoring twice and assisting another goal.
  • Abdullah Al-Hamdan opening the scoring and later assisting Ângelo.
  • Sadio Mané registering two assists.
  • Abdulelah Al-Amri, Abdulrahman Ghareeb and Ângelo registering their names on the scoresheet.
  • Al-Nassr scored three times in each half.
  • Pakhtakor found the net twice but just could not cope with Al-Nassr's attacking pressure.

The defeat for Pakhtakor continues a difficult run in the competition, as the Uzbek club came into the match following a previous fixture defeat to Iraqi side Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and now face an even tougher challenge in their next game.

The hosts did show some attacking character through Flamarion and Khamdamov, but conceding six goals at home convincingly overshadowed those positives.

Al-Nassr, meanwhile, will take plenty of confidence from the performance. With Félix in excellent form, Mané contributing creatively and several other players getting on the scoresheet, the Saudi club demonstrated that its threat extends well beyond one individual star.

The Pakhtakor vs Al-Nassr clash became a statement performance from the visitors, as they were clinical in front of goal, dangerous in transition and ruthless whenever Pakhtakor gave them space.

There will be indeed plenty to analyse for Pakhtakor after conceding six. Al-Nassr, however, a six-goal away victory provides exactly the kind of momentum they will want as the AFC Champions League Elite campaign continues.
