Apara Olalekan Akintunji

I write to make complex ideas simple, and to challenge how we think about education, research, and real-world impact. I am an academic researcher and writer with over five years of experience working across education, social sciences, and interdisciplinary fields. But more than that, I am interested in what happens after research is done - how knowledge is interpreted, applied, and sometimes misunderstood. My work sits at the intersection of research and public understanding, as I translate complex concepts into clear, structured insights; whether through academic writing, analytical articles, or thought-driven content. As a contributor at Geeky Nigeria, I explore topics in education, science, and society, using research to inform conversations and offer perspective. My work has been recognised with Writer of the Year and Writer of the Month awards (both third place). I am particularly interested in how research can shape education, policy, and public thinking, especially in emerging contexts.   I am a lot more than can be encapsulated through social media or write-ups.   Oh! By the way, less being all-too serious - I am an ambivert.   Alright, I am open to collaborations on areas of my forte and (even) more.   Let us get working!
