“I Do” is what every young lady longs for in a relationship.
Parents, family members, friends and well wishers are not left out, for they will all present their cheers with a loud voice.
Of course there are some who are not happy that its your great day but they don’t have option than to cheer too while they wait and pray for misfortune to befall you.
The most happiest and memorable day of my life, walking to the alter and looking into the eyes of the person before me, his smile makes me feel like the most beautiful creature ever.
Memories of my wedding day rushed through my head as I gazed at the sky. Looking at nothing in particular. I sighed and grabbed the glass of water mixed with Apple Cider Vanegeron.
When will this end?
Is this how I will continue?
How on earth did I chose to be his wife?
Sincerely, marriage wasn’t as I had anticipated. It was not all roses. Its now that the popular saying “It takes two to tangle” makes sense to me.
I am living in bondage or rather in hell in the name of marriage, I don’t have a say in my marital affairs for everything my husband dictates stands and the height of it all is that most times I get to hear about my husbands achievement from outsides who are neither relatives nor friends.
I have complained severally but his decision still stands, that he gives order while my job is to oblige without questioning or seeking for explanations.
I feel devastated each passing day for I dumped my best friend who understands me and also consider me anytime he is about taking a step in his business or affairs, such a lovely and jolly fellow whom I believe that with him beside me, each passing day will always give me peace and harmony; but no for out of my quest for wealth and firm, I made a mistake that I will never erase till I die.
I know little or nothing about my husband but because of his status, I tightened my belt in other not to loss him for he is the kind of man I want in my life. Of course, we still have time to know each other so nothing to worry about.
I thought of “LOVE” but as they say Love grows, I was fully convinced that with time, I will get to love him and what really matters is the love he has for me and not otherwise.
Nature will not forgive me if I denied not enjoying the wealth and firm I wanted, but happiness left me, love disappeared, rest of mind was long forgotten and peace got kidnapped without Ransom for restoration in my life again.
I now live in agony, fear of the unknown, crying inside wealth, always nervous and scared of the next minute.
Is this life worth living? everybody wants to be like me, everybody wants to enjoy like me, all my friends wants to be in my shoes, little did they know that money can’t buy peace of mind and narrating my experience to them will be waste of time for it will bear no fruit like the seeds that fell on top rocky ground.
I didn’t mention intimacy for it comes once in a blue moon and if there is anything that takes longer than blue moon, I choose to go for that because as I speak, I can’t recall the last time we stayed together, laughed together, eat together, pray/ play together or cuddle while sleeping and I dare not ask for the consequence is unimaginable.
Wealth spices marriage but Happiness, peace of mind, rest of mind, inner joy, communication and intimacy bring out the aroma in marriage.
Don’t rush into marriage, take note of warning signals and marry your best friend for there is a reason behind it and remember, wealth is Ephemeral.
