The MTN Scholarship Scheme is an annual scholarship award that seeks to recognize and reward qualified high performing students.
It is made up of the MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme (MTN STSS) and the MTN Scholarship Scheme for Blind Students (MTN SSBS). Both Scholarship Schemes are under the Youth Empowerment Cause.
Students in Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education) in 300 level, studying Science & Technology related courses can submit their applications online.
Eligible students stand a chance to be awarded scholarships worth N200,000 annually till graduation as long as they maintain the required grades.
If you are a 300 level student in any public tertiary institution, studying science and technology related courses, you can apply for MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme.
However, bear in mind that eligibility is based on high performance. This means that you must have maintained high grades in 100 & 200 levels. If you have met the criteria, you can submit your application:

In Addition, MTN has a scholarship scheme for blind students (MTN SSBS). The scheme is exclusively for students that are blind. So if you know a student that is blind, refer them to apply for support.

MTN foundation has been in the news of late. Earlier, it had partnered with some organisations to curb the prevalence of drug abuse in Nigeria.
MTN STSS is currently in its 9th phase while MTN SSBS is in its 7th phase.
