Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) said its customers in Orile Iganmu should exercise patience and bear with ongoing repairs on their transformer.
This was released in a statement on Friday, following the present power outage around Coker zone, Orile Iganmu.
EKEDC revealed that the cause of the power outage is a failed transformer test, which occurred recently. The company assures customers that their team will take the transformer to the workshop for repairs.
According to the statement, areas affected by the failed transformer test are Karimu, Ogunsanya, Akande, Sule and Igunnu axis of Orile Iganmu.
Recall that EKEDC had cautioned against patronising fake meter asset providers. This, according to the company is forestall illegal sale of meters to its customers.
EKEDC warns that any customer that engages in the illegal meter installation will be doing so at personal risks, as the company won’t be held liable for any damages incurred.
