Hail Consortium, an NGO, has commenced a two-day free eye care medical services and to 600 residents living in Bobi Grazing Reserves.
The founder of Hail Consortium, Alhaji Musa Abdulsalam, revealed that the exercise was carried out through Aminu Musa Abdulsalam Foundation (AMA).
He said that the efforts was to give back to society and meeting its Corporate Social Responsibility target in the area.
According to Abdulsalam, the foundation provides treatment of cataracts, glaucoma and other eye-related diseases.
“We are also distributing items such as slippers, bathing soaps, among others to the beneficiary, ” the NGO boss said.
The founder noted that the same gesture was carried out in Wushishi and Kontagora councils as well as in other states of the federation.
He added that the consortium was also developing 5,000 hectares for production of dairy and beef which it had been doing for the past eight years.
He called on well to do individuals to emulate the gesture and support government efforts in improving the health of Nigerians.
