Power Outage: IBEDC Notifies Customers Of Technical Faults

There has been a major technical fault on the incoming feeder of the 7.5MVA and 33/11KVA at the Oke-Omiru Injection substation.

This implies that some customers in Ilesha town, Osun state will experience a power outage. The affected communities are: Iretiayo, Ijoka, Ijamu, Oke Isa, Oloruntedo, Itakugun, Erejasa, Isokun, Adeti, Idasa, Okeopo, Ayeso, School Board, Ilaje, and Isale General.

According to a statement, signed by IBEDC, Osun region, the technical team are working tirelessly to rectify the fault and ensure power supply is restored.

IBEDC apologises for the inconveniences the technical faults may have caused.

Recall that IBEDC had formed partnerships with Nayo Tech and RMI to launch the first-ever commercial undergrid minigrid in Nigeria.

The project is expected to power Mokoloki Community, a rural area in Ogun, previously struggling with intermittent electricity access and poor voltage quality
