Adeleke University, Ede, Osun has appointed Prof. Solomon Adebola as its new Vice-Chancellor.
Adebola, the immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the institution was inaugurated at the university’s premises on Saturday in Ede.
In his remarks, Adebola said his administration would ensure smooth running of the institution and quality education for the students.
He said his administration would be based on godliness, fairness and firmness.
Adebola also said that that he would ensure that the university achieved the purposes for which it was established.
He appreciated management of the institution for giving him the opportunity to lead the university.
In his remarks, Prof. Ekundayo Alao, the immediate past VC of the institution, thanked the Chairman and the Council of university for their support, which he said enhanced the success of his administration.
Also speaking, Dr Adedeji Adekeje, the founder of the university, thanked God for the achievements witnessed during Alao’s tenure as the VC of the university.
Adeleke University also inaugurated new principal officers and other management members during the ceremony.
