Bournvita Nigeria, in partnership with Edusko, had announced a virtual tech boot camp scheduled to commence on August 3.
Bournvita tech boot camp is an opportunity for children from 9 to 16 years old to learn technologies essential to the 4th industrial revolution, which is characterised by the growing utilisation of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, robotics, 3D printing, the Internet of Things, and advanced wireless technologies, among others.
The fourth industrial revolution, (also known as Industry 4.0), represents a fundamental change in the way we live, work and relate to one another, as a result of our adoption of the new technologies.

Coding
Codes are used by developers to build apps, websites, and to pass instructions to computers. Children will learn how to communicate better with computer systems through the use of codes.
Google CS First Curriculum
CS First is a Google initiative focused on computer science education for students. Its introductory computer science curriculum uses instructional videos to help teachers introduce computer science to students.
Children will learn the fundamentals of computer science as well as basic coding concepts.
Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) is the imitation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. AI Technology represents the fifth generation of computer, and it is presently being developed. Google Assistant and Cortana are AI personal assistant apps.
By taking a course on AI, children can learn how to build intelligent systems, and technologies for them.
Robotics
Robotics is a branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation, and use of robots. The aim of robotics is to develop intelligent machines that can assist us in our day-to-day activities, while keeping everyone safe.
