The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) timetable.
The timetable is for students in Basic 9 (JS3) who are to be promoted to senior secondary school.
NECO Registrar, Prof. Godswill Obioma, stated that the NECO Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will hold between Monday, August 24 and September 4.

According to NECO, Practical in Business Studies as well as Basic Science & Technology (BST) should be in sets where the number of candidates is large and the equipment cannot go round. However, the practical examination should not exceed 5:00pm. Computers can be used in place of Typewriters for Business Studies.
Also, Albinos and Blind Candidates are to be given 30 mins extra time in all subjects.
The Council warned that Blind Candidates must make use of NECO-supplied OBR Customised Braille Sheet for the examination.
