In the spirit of Christmas, lets go beyond merriment and entertainment, beyond worldly preparations, and rather pause and reflect on our lives.
In our regards, let’s consider where we were yesterday, where we are today and where we are heading tomorrow.
Go to the hospital and tear your life apart with tears when you see people living on life support. Everything is vanity and life is too expensive to be maintained by man.
As you prepare to witness the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, let us be mindful of little things that we always omit in our daily actives which includes the following:
Live a life of Gratitude/Thanksgiving
It takes attitude to live a life of gratitude. A man that is always thankful and grateful cannot diminish. Don’t take glory of things happening to you but always return all glory to God.
When you thank God concerning the things you have not seen, you are expressing gratitude. When you stop appreciating God you start diminishing. Inability to God leads to ingratitude which is an expression of pride.
Those that do not thank God fail to notice his goodness in their lives. It takes humility to thank God and Perfection comes when give gratitude to him.
Live for God
How do I live for God and what does he want from me?
Living for God means you have sold yourself completely and making him your no.1 factor in your life. You must be ready to let go of the desires of the flesh when living for God and always consider his feelings, following his step and making him your utmost priority.
Let people around you know that you live for God. Live day by day to please God. Live a live that is rooted in Christ and your ultimate desire should be to live for him.
People live for different things such as power, position, status and famous, what do you live for?
Don’t focus on Yourself / Stop Complaining
Deny yourself worldly pleasures, shun attraction to worldliness. You must forsake all for him. Watch what you vomit and consume and always stand by the truth because it’s the only thing that will set you free.
Complaining and Murmuring is a recipe for destruction. Thank God for where you are so that he will take you where you ought to be.
Be contented with what you have, don’t allow your circumstance to change the way you view God rather allow God to change the way you view your circumstance.
When selfishness is in you, you will not be satisfied, so move your focus away from yourself. Remember, where you are today is the prayer point of many and man is too expensive to be maintained by man.
Be Prayerful
Be prayerful and always pray without season for prayer moves mountains. Always remember the goodness of God moment by moment.
Faith is the currency for any purchase in Christ Jesus, so let your focus be on God despite challenges coming your way.
Love God and Man
For Gods nature is love, love is stronger than faith. Show love and care for people around you. He that gives to the poor renders to God.
You become an ambassador of Christ when you love him with all your soul and spirit. Let your word find practical expression in the life of every believer. Love is ultimate and it’s the fulfilling of the law.
A redeemed child of God is a possessed child of God. Let your actions, speech and all that concerns you be of God. Know the truth and stand on it.
Do not celebrate this season the same way others are celebrating it, be unique and follow your maker. God reserves the best for his people. It’s never too late for God. For your name shall be printed in Gold. Give thanks for it is the will of God to give thanks in every circumstance.
We should always guide our salvation and not to compromise it. When you Live for God, you are looking up to him for signs and wonders.
