Children’s day is celebrated on May 27 every year. It is all about making children feel loved and important, while recognising their essence in our lives. Parents celebrate with their children on children’s day by buying them gifts, taking them out to have fun and spending quality time with them.

Aside from the fact that parents spend time with their kids, a lot of activities do take place on children’s day like children gathering in an environment in order to play and get along with one another.

To Make Them Feel Loved

Children feel loved on children’s day by their parents and society at large. Every May 27, children will be given holiday from school for that day and also parents will create time for their kids .

They will also feel loved if their parents gift them something nice like chocolate or ice cream; take them out for lunch or cook something special for dinner.

To Make Them Feel Important

Children will feel important because they are aware that it is their day as they were also given a day holiday to celebrate this wonderful day with their siblings and friends.

Children will also feel important if parents spend quality time with their kids or go to a play ground.

For Socialisation

Children are celebrated on May 27, they will have the opportunity to mingle and communicate with one another in playground and outings. Parents can take their kids out so that they can celebrate this beautiful day with other kids and even snap pictures.

When kids come together, they play together and communicate with one another which increase their communication skills and make them learn new things.

I believe this article will help parents and society at large to know that it is important for children to be celebrated. It is not just all about them sitting at home for the holiday but it is also important to put a smile children’s face for instance gifting them an item, taking them out for lunch, spending quality time with them or prepare something special for dinner.

Happy Children’s Day!
