Each of the aforementioned DISCOs is responsible for handling electricity distribution in each state or region. So, electricity bill payment is made to them.

Quickteller
Quickteller is widely used in Nigeria to settle almost all kinds of payments online. Quickteller is owned and managed by Interswitch, a payment processing company headquartered in Lagos.
To use Quickteller to pay your electric bill, follow these steps:
- Visit Quickteller website – quickteller.com.
- Login or Sign up.
- After logging in, you will be taken to your Quickteller dashboard, Click “Pay Bills”
- Scroll down, and select “Utilities”
- Select your DISCO prepaid (e.g Ikeja Electric Prepaid)
- Enter your meter number and amount, click “Continue”
- Pay with your Card details
JumiaPay
Jumia pay also allows you to pay your electric bills online. You can download their app to enjoy fast and easy access to payments. Their website can also be used if you don’t have access to your smartphone. Simply click “Sign in” on the homepage to login with your email address or Facebook.

OPay
Opay is another alternative for your electric bill payments. You can pay utility bills and carry out other financial transactions on the platform.
But Unlike Quickteller and Jumia, it is operated primarily on smartphone, as it has no website interface.

You can also bay through your Bank’s Mobile App. Login to the app, look around for bill payments. You may have to search under the “Utilities” section if you cannot readily find Your DISCO.
