The 8th Edition of the Maltina Teacher of the Year Competition has begun, and entries are being sought from private and public secondary schools in Nigeria.
The competition is promoted by Nigeria Breweries. the largest brewing company in Nigeria which serves the Nigerian market and West Africa.
They are calling for entries for secondary school teachers in Nigeria, so that they can be inducted into the Hall of Fame, as the deadline for entry submission is July, 2022.
The Maltina Teacher of the Year Award recognises and celebrates outstanding teachers in Nigeria. According to the setup, There will be champions from each state of the federation and the FCT, and an overall winner will emerge.
Winners from each state will be regarded as State Champions and they will be duly rewarded. In addition, National Winners will emerge from these State Champions after further evaluation.
For the Competition, the Winner gets N6,500,000 cash prize, a capacity development training, and a fully equipped block of classrooms or computer laboratory.
The first runner-up walks away with N1,500,000 cash prize. Second Runner-up takes home N1,250,000, while each State Champion are rewarded with N500,000.
