The match went on to penalties after a hard-fought extra time which Argentina went on to convert 4 out of 5 from the spot. Emiliano Martinez’s two penalties saved were all the motivation needed to get through this match.
It has been confirmed that Argentina will play Croatia in the semifinal of the world cup, not to forget that Croatia eliminated them in the last world cup. It’s surely going to be one to look forward to.
