The Sankalp Africa Awards have commenced applications for its 2023 edition a celebration of outstanding social entrepreneurs and a showcase of innovative and successful businesses globally.
The 2023 Edition of Sankalp Africa Awards seeks social entrepreneurs who are #TransformingImpact, making a positive impact on society, gaining hands-on experience, and creating innovative solutions with a global community.
Geeky Nigeria reports that the Sankalp Awards is held at the 10th Sankalp Africa Summit – an event that catalyzes collaborations across the entrepreneurial ecosystem in order to solve global challenges sustainably. The Awards are a celebration of outstanding social entrepreneurs and a showcase of innovative and successful businesses globally.
Applicants get the chance to pitch and get feedback from the eminent Sankalp Grand Jury and audience of investors, collaborate with a global network of investors, donors, and entrepreneur support organizations, as well as gain visibility and generate leads at the 10th Sankalp Africa Summit, among others.
To be eligible for the Sankalp Africa Awards, potential applicants should: run a high-impact business in Africa that caters to rural, low-income, or disadvantaged communities in any of our 8 impact areas; Have a clear for-profit business model with high potential for scale; Have an experienced and dedicated promoter team; Have some proof of concept on the ground that are generating revenues, and Are looking for funding in the range of $100K – $1M USD.
