It was love at first sight!
The round fluffy, moist double-layered cake was the most colourful sight they had since today. Guess what? The twins Maya and Magen were turning four months today. Their mom Queen Makayla vowed to always have a cake mesh session for them every month.
These were the precious, long-awaited gifts they received ending of the last term. So, here we are in January at their home nursery. Click! Churr! The cameraman took adorable pictures. Maya, the chubby princess, always laughed easily, while Magen, the cute prince, was uninterested in the whole paparazzi. He would rather eat the cake than look up for the picture.
Well, that’s what the cake mesh is about, right… Maya and Magen are very precious to their parents. They were always showered with new sets of toys at every cake mesh. Queen Makaylah had an individual nanny for each of them. So, they took the children as their core responsibility and the reason for their paid employment.
As much as the Queen had so many responsibilities governing the women’s affairs in the kingdom, educating the women and children from low-income areas to empower them to reach their full potential, giving to charities, consulting for the neighbouring villages, and supporting the king. She sometimes had mummy guilt about whether she was truly doing enough or being present for her young ones.
She will dust this thought off when she re-thinks it has an investment in the human resource in the community to later led to resource mobilisation. She kept at it, but one of the most interesting and bonding times for her and the king was at night, around seven pm; they had sure the nannies got to close for the day by 6 pm. This allows for a great and intentional time for bonding with her precious ones.
A tradition was held over to her from when she became an elder sister. It was sleep training. Queen Makaylah’s mom was a politician and a very present mother and wife. The combination of roles was an inspiration for the queen.
