She would watch her mom and sleep-train her little brother. She would teach him very early on how to; fall asleep independently without needing to be rocked or soothed by an adult.
Most times after changing his diapers, and feeding him she sings for him and then places him alone inside the crib and she will stand outside his room.
He will innocently cry and cry then after like about thirty minutes. He will have fallen asleep. Mom always got to know what Levi needed.
Oh, mine! I just have to train these precious ones, that after bath time, change the diapers, we read and pray together next you have to sleep by yourself my little dearest. It worked for my brother! I shall try it out with Maya and Magen.
So after the long day of the photo shoot and cake mesh session; the nannies had clocked off duty. The queen and king had proposed to start the sleep training today since they were old enough to self-soothe and sleep on their own.
They both had separate cribs but were in the same room. The queen dropped Maya in her pink crib while the King dropped Magen in his blue crib. They read a bedtime story to them and placed them on the bed….
Mom decided to go out first; next dad followed suit. They both started crying and crying. After about an hour Maya fell asleep. But Magen was still crying really loud. Mom couldn’t bear it again, she entered the room only to discover that Maya also woke up!
Just as the fragrance of mum got into the room. Oh no! Mom said, maybe I shouldn’t have entered the room. She carried Magen and he slept in her arms. Boy, you’re going to sleep all by yourself she said calmly. Next, she sang for Maya and she slept back peacefully.
As she was about to leave the room, Magen woke up! She got a chair and sat close to his crib. The queen was so determined not to carry him but to allow him to soothe and sleep unassisted. After about twenty minutes. Magen finally slept. She was so excited and delighted.
The next morning; they did not wake up at the usual time. The queen observed that sleep training impacted their kind of sleep. Henceforth, she trained her nannies on the two methods she used the cry-out and chair methods to sleep train them always.
The queen was a firm believer in nurturing and preserving the gifts and freedom of their childhood. Madam said; one of the nannies. Magen had really become independent now. This is good ooh.
