“Wait, ladies! Do you all know that the floral industry is worth over $100 billion in the United States?”
“Oh! Really?” said Ms Sandra. “Yes, please! The flower business is a mainstream of living and earning in developed countries. Cheers to more and plenty of billions in account ooh.”
“Ah! I love it! I love the sound of that, can you say that again….” Ms Alona, the newly certified florist, said.
“I’m super sure that this business is going to thrive! We believe so, too. “Clink, Clink the glass cheered.”
“Floristry! That is the production, commerce, and trade of flowers. It encompasses flower care and handling, floral design and arrangement, merchandising, production, display, and flower delivery. This industry employs almost 75,000 people to deliver optimally. That’s the creation of job opportunities for its citizenry! Honestly!” said Ms Thabita, the witty one.
Mr Fred, the happy and most delighted husband and biggest supporter of his wife, Ms Alona, who loves flowers and has a strong sense of identifying specific flowers just by their fragrance. It was the grand opening of the ‘The Flower Shop’. The ambience was perfectly spotted close to the well-known ‘White Hotels & Suites’ behind the Kio Falls. This was the only hotel in the city of Jufa, which usually houses political leaders, celebrities, and c-suite leaders and executives. Mr Fred being a natural consultant and a multinational project manager to several companies, thought it sensible to survey and weigh the cost of running a business such as this in that specific location and for that particular niche of people.
“Hearty, welcome, everyone!”, He said. “This opening ceremony will begin soonest, while we await the chairman of today’s occasion in person of Hon. Daniel Quince. Kindly enjoy the sonorous music from the live band and beautifully visit the pop-up stalls around to patronize our community of friends. Enjoy!”
“My dear friend, Congratulations are in order! This space is so phenomenal! Take a look at the dazzling exteriors and the fragrance. Yes, darling, Ms. Alona cut in that’s the mixture of L2 special! What’s that, oooh,” said Ms. Thabita.
“You can trust Ms, Alona with her usual play on words. Lol! Funny you, L2 special is a mixture of lemon & lavender essential oils in a bottle gently infused into the humidifier. Splish! Splosh! it puffs! Wow! Shouted Sandra! I’m so inspired, ready.” She continued… “It’s purely clean air, which helps to soothe the mind and calm the body. A minute, please. I need to check up on my team members at the stall. Ms Alona walked majestically as she waved to the guess who recognized her while she passed.”
“Duke, how is it going with the team?” “Madam, we are establishing the necessary contact with the people around, we have had some tours in our display stand. We all are giddy towards when the ribbons will get untied! Then, we can officially begin.”
“Well done, keep the flag flying high!”, Thank you, Ms Alona, for being a great leader to us all. You’re not just nurturing the flowers, but you enable our personalities and trim out excess with words and excellent guidance. Oh, mine. Thanks, Duke! It’s always a joy to receive your kind words.
“Oh yes! I remember informing the team that in the next fifteen minutes, the chairman will be here.” “Everyone should be out at the entrance.”, “Okay, ma’am”.
“Now! The moment we all have been waiting for. With a round of applause shall we welcome Hon. Daniel Quince for his opening speech and also the dedication of this new facility”.
“Well, the word for today is Congratulations! Bravo! You’ve put together a beautiful facility and a delightful treasure. I’m amazed at your outstanding collection of flowers, particularly Kangaroo Paw. I’ve always wondered if it has petals and why this flower bears the name of an animal.
“We celebrate passion and resilience, which is more important, than keeping alive a great nature’s tradition in a space. Well done Mr Fred & Ms Alona and the team. Now to unto the moment….. It is with joy, I welcome you all to Olives Flower Shop! We dedicate this shop to the blessed Holy Trinity. Everyone says a loud Amen! The scissors and hand movement go up and down. And behold, the door was opened!”
