The 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) has commenced for cohort 3 training, as it aims to build Nigeria’s technical talent backbone.
The program’s first phase, in collaboration with NITDA, brings together fellows, training providers, partners, and placement organizations to develop a skilled workforce and drive economic growth.
The 3MTT program’s inaugural phase launched in December 2023, with 30,000 fellows selected from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). These fellows embarked on a rigorous learning journey, comprising:
- Self-paced online courses
- Physical applied learning sessions
In partnership with over 120 organizations, this comprehensive approach equipped fellows with hands-on experience and industry-relevant skills.
To achieve this ambitious goal, the 3MTT program is collaborating with hundreds of applied learning clusters, state governments, development agencies, and other key stakeholders. This comprehensive approach ensures that the program reaches a wide range of young Nigerians and provides them with the skills needed to thrive in the digital economy.
