Co-creation HUB, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is excited to announce that applications for Cohort III (2025) of the Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship are now open.
This opportunity is designed for African-focused EdTech startups incorporated in Nigeria that are building innovative solutions for K-12 education, tertiary institutions, or vocational skills training.
The Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship is on a mission to empower visionary startups that are transforming education across Africa. The fellowship aims to support startups in enhancing learning outcomes and accelerating access to quality, equitable education for the continent’s next generation.
By joining the fellowship, selected startups will gain access to a range of benefits, including USD 100k equity-free funding, connections to a vibrant network of investors, coaching and mentorship from successful founders and seasoned experts, and tailored advisory support in areas such as Learning Science, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Talent Management.
Startups will also have opportunities to test their solutions within a dynamic community of practice and network with other innovative EdTech founders.
To be eligible for the fellowship, startups must meet certain criteria. These include being focused on K-12, tertiary education, formal skills, corporate learning, or informal skills, being incorporated in Nigeria, having a working product with users, offering a scalable solution, and being led by a balanced, passionate team committed to advancing education. Female founders are highly encouraged to apply.
