This prestigious list, compiled by The Power 50, acknowledges the most innovative companies driving transformation in the global payments industry.
Since its inception in 2009, Verve has made significant strides, carving a niche for itself as Africa’s first world-standard EMV chip and PIN payments card. With over 70 million payment cards issued in Nigeria alone, Verve has expanded its reach across 25 African countries. The company’s growth can be attributed to strategic partnerships with commercial and microfinance banks, fintechs, and the public sector.
