IT Horizons, in partnership with ShepherdHill Healthcare Initiative, recently sponsored a free medical outreach in the Magboro community, Ogun State.
This corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed to promote community well-being through technology and innovation. The outreach provided residents with access to essential health services, including comprehensive health education sessions, general health screenings, and one-on-one consultations with medical professionals.
The health education sessions focused on hygiene, nutrition, lifestyle diseases, and preventive care, empowering residents with knowledge to make informed decisions about their health.
The general health screenings included blood pressure, blood sugar checks, eye tests, and BMI assessments, allowing for early detection and prevention of health issues. Medical professionals also conducted one-on-one consultations, offering diagnoses and health advice, followed by on-site distribution of prescribed medications.
The CEO of IT Horizons, Mr. Olusegun Enitan Dada, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting the health and well-being of its surrounding communities. He stated that sustainable development starts with healthy communities and that the company is dedicated to creating real impact through its resources and expertise.
