Ordinary People Episode 6: Meets Miss Crazy Review
Ordinary People episode 6, titled Meets Miss Crazy, takes us back to the start of Osaro and Emilia's love story, shows the comedian Pere's cruelty towards Audrey, and ends with Dare stepping in. Romance, heartbreak, and danger all land in one episode. And Dare? Somebody needs to explain that man! 😂
If you have been wondering how Osaro and Emilia went from a seemingly sweet couple to a marriage hanging by a thread, the episode finally takes us back to the beginning.
Ordinary People Episode 6 Goes Back to Where Osaro and Emilia Began
The episode spends much of its runtime showing us how their love story began. There is romance, attraction and Osaro coming to the rescue of a damsel in distress. Watching them together in those early days, you can understand why they fell in love. They look like the kind of couple people would admire, perhaps even envy.
Which makes their present situation all the more heartbreaking.
How did a relationship that began with so much affection become this emotionally exhausting? At what point did things change so drastically? Emilia's behaviour is increasingly alarming, and her attempt to take her own life is particularly difficult to watch. It is a disturbing reminder of just how serious the situation has become.
And Osaro? That man deserves a moment of silence. 😂 How much can one person endure in the name of love? Perhaps he enjoyed the excitement and intensity at the beginning, but somewhere along the line, the thrill became too much to bear. Their backstory gives us a better understanding of what they once shared, even if it doesn't answer every question about how their marriage fell apart.
Dare, Tolu and Margaret Are Back at the Gym
Meanwhile, Dare Laguda is back at the gym with Tolu and Margaret, our undercover agents, and the flirting is becoming increasingly obvious. 😂😂 Between the surveillance, the secrets and those suspiciously interesting interactions, I need to know whether this is part of the mission or whether Dare has developed an interest that goes beyond investigating his neighbours.
Pere's Mask Slips in the Final Scenes
But the real drama arrives towards the end, when the world finally gets a glimpse of the other side of Pere, the comedian. For someone whose job is to make people laugh, his treatment of Audrey is anything but amusing. The carefully maintained public image begins to crack, and people finally get a glimpse of what Audrey has been experiencing behind closed doors.
However, Pere's reaction to the situation raises another frightening question: has the truth coming out put Audrey in even greater danger? Sometimes, exposing someone's behaviour does not automatically make the victim safer, especially when the person being exposed is determined to protect their reputation.
And then Dare steps in to help Audrey.
Now, this is where things get even more interesting. What exactly will Dare do to help her, and could his intervention make an already dangerous situation worse? With so many secrets surrounding Mirage Estate, I am not ready to assume that anybody's involvement comes without complications.
What Ordinary People Episode 6 Leaves Us Asking
This episode gives us romance, heartbreak and a much-needed glimpse behind Pere's public persona. It also leaves us wondering what happens when the truth finally comes out and the people who have been hiding behind carefully constructed images can no longer control the narrative.
The main points to take from it:
- Osaro and Emilia's backstory shows why they fell in love, without explaining how their marriage fell apart.
- Emilia's attempt to take her own life shows how serious things have become.
- Dare, Tolu and Margaret are back at the gym, and the flirting is hard to miss.
- Pere's treatment of Audrey is exposed, and it is unclear whether that makes her safer.
- Dare steps in to help Audrey, which could complicate an already dangerous situation.
Osaro is exhausted, Audrey may be in danger, and Dare is getting far too comfortable around those agents. Please, can somebody just tell me what happens next? 😂
Have you watched episode six? What do you think about Dare step in to help Audrey, and do you think exposing Pere will make things better or worse for her?
