The Game can be added to any page or post via an easily accessible shortcode,[ wp-tic-tac-toe ] or conveniently set up on a sidebar in Appearance >> Widgets. Add the plugin, and you are ready to play!
Major features in Wp Tic-Tac-Toe include:
- Increasing Levels of Difficulty.
- Shortcode for Page/Post Inclusion.
- Low memory usage.
- Well designed Game Layout
Installation
The game can be installed on a sidebar or via a shortcode, on a page or post. For the sidebar, a widget title can be set to display at the top of the game layout, default is “Play Tic-Tac-Toe”.
Note that at any point in time, you can only deploy one instance of Tic-tac-toe (Game or Widget). Adding more than one shortcode or widget will lead to a clash in the game files, and you get an error as “The game cannot start now, try again or add in another location.” To avoid such errors, run the game once.
Game Play
The game can only run once. Please choose to display either on sidebar or page. Two instances of the game will trigger an error. e.g Having two games on a sidebar or displaying on a page and sidebar.
The game has four levels for players to choose from; Beginner, Learner, Pro, Geek.
Beginner – This level is the easiest. The A.I understands that you are just playing the game for the first time, and so it gives you even more opportunities to win.
Learner – This lever is easier than pro. As you have understood the game, but still desire to learn, the A.I limits your wins by taking more opportunities.
Pro – In the Pro level, you get to play the game as you would with any usual opponent.
Geek – The hardest level in the game.
