Why Violence Against Women And Children Must Stop

The history of violence against women and children is as old as time itself. These important members of the human social cycle receive multiple traumatic and violent abuse; financial, social, emotional, sexual, psychological, and physical.

The echoing term ‘Women and Children’ seems not to mean much to many people today. They are considered weak and require special treatments, although some cultures believe otherwise. Ancient narratives project that some cultures had a female military.

As a result of these beliefs, they are excluded from some societal functions, for example, military activities, extensive farming activities, politics and governance, and so on. While other societies hold that a woman is the most important person in the community.

Today, it is as though being a woman and child instigates greater levels of violence because it seems to communicate vulnerability, rather than frangibility. Sexual predators see them as prey, while some men, and at times, other women in positions of authority and influence, see them as slaves and instruments.

It is therefore imperative to present these sufferers as they are, source and future.

Why violence against women must stop.

Violence against the ‘source’ of all humans is an attempt to eradicate the origin of all life. It is entirely safe to say that women are the sole originator of all humans, including herself. No human exists today, except by the woman or a considerably high percentage contribution by the woman (as in In-vitro fertilization).

The woman housed every human for 9 months with special care for feeding, protection, and warmth. She nurses every human for all the time he/she would be alive; motherhood stops when either the child or the mother dies.

As the source, she holds the keys to the hearts and souls of all humans. She is important in the success or failure story of every human.

To stop violence against women is to recognize the origin of all humans and be willing to accord her the respect she deserves, because, there is none like her. This will eventually upturn general individual and societal well-being.

Why violence against children must stop.

Children represent another important aspect of our existence as humans, The Future.

They are cultural vehicles of longevity. Harmonious projections of the present and past. The only factors for the continued existence of individuals and the human race as a whole.

With their cute smiles, they melt the heart. Their innocence is as clear as the sea and their malleability traits make them desirable for the preservation of a way of life, a people, and an idea.

Violence against them is a continuous attempt to destroy tomorrow. And without a tomorrow, the past or present is an existential waste.

In conclusion, rebranding the description of these women and children in our society can drastically affect the rate of violence against them. Spelling out their irreplaceable spots in the existence of every individual should be enough to stir him/her to defend them in the face of violence.
