Ekiti State Government in conjunction with Tech4Dev has commenced Ekiti Digital Skilling Academy (EDSA) for youths in Ekiti State.
Ekiti youths between the ages of 16 -35 years, with at least basic digital literacy, have been called to register for the academy.
Geeky Nigeria reports that the Ekiti State Digital Skills Academy (ESDA) is an initiative designed to provide youths in Ekiti state with the technology and soft skills competence needed to access local and global job market opportunities.
The mission of EDSA is to facilitate access to economic opportunities for Ekiti’s population through state-wide technology upgrade and digital skills acquisition.
For the program, there are four learning tracks: Front End Software Development, Back End Software Development, Product Design and Product Management.
To be eligible for the program you must be resident in Ekiti state.
You must also have a Microsoft Outlook email account to participate in this training.
For application, you will be required to fill out a 10 – 15min form, which could be used for Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning purposes.
Note that the registration deadline is September 13, 2022.
