In the spirit of celebrating the day our Savior, Jesus Christ was born, we all know that Christmas is a time when the whole family gathers around from every corner to spend time with each other, eventually crossing over into the New Year.

It is also without a doubt that when there’s family time, it also includes watching movies together. On that note, here are a few Christmas movies I believe you’ll enjoy with your folks in this holly jolly season:

The Boy Called Christmas (2021): Who wants to know how Christmas began? In this told tale, there are no lies there. After the King announced that anyone who finds hope and brings it back will be rewarded bountifully, young Nikolas’ father ventured into the cold hard blizzard far away from home, leaving Nikolas with his Aunt. Nikolas then found the map to the bedtime story his mama always told him. Determined to help his father find the mystical town of the old tale— and leave his overbearing aunt, he journeys out, but of course not alone. With the help of his mouse and a found reindeer, he discovers more about the town in the story than meets the eye. Will he be able to find his father and win over the dark which dangerously struggles to blind his hope?
Marry Me This Christmas (2020): Now, if you love drama, I think this is for you. A certain Pastor Daniel in training just moved back to his hometown to serve in his local church/community. No doubt he has the calling and the magnet to draw people closer to God, however, when a high school friend of his, Angela, came to him to help educate her father on hope and faith about his medical condition, they become close, and sparks fly. Will Daniel be brave enough to confront his feelings and accept them, before he loses Angela…..forever? Will both of them overcome the challenges which threaten to keep them apart?
Holidate (2020): Human beings crave companionship, which leads to the fact that no one is meant to be alone on the holidays. Sloan is tired of pitiful eyes batting at her every holiday because she’s seen as the only single person in her family, even her younger brother is getting married, and her mother is trying desperately to help her leave the single crew. With matters falling out of her hands, she decides to have a Holidate (someone she only dates for the holidays) in the name of Jackson, a guy she randomly met at the mall. Things go well for them until they realize their feelings for each other being to grow, which threatened to bring their fun-uncommitted-once-in-a-holiday-relationship to a close. Will they accept their feelings for each other, or will they allow the pain of their past to get in the way?
