It’s a hub for creative junkies, thinkers and innovators.
It was the start of a new month at Orange Hub, and every new month, all team members gather at the lighthouse for a strategic meeting on new products and ideas for the new month.
This month was quite different. Mr White the CEO of the Orange Hub, is visiting the Lagos subsidiary for the first time and everyone had to bring in their A-game for this week’s meeting and brain-storming session. Mr Mark was the head of operations and Mr Nelson was the head of the human resource.
Everyone disliked Mr Nelson. They felt he was too strict and unapproachable, contradictory to his job description, Head of Human Resources.
Everyone was already seated and waiting for Mr White and his P. A when they got in. He explained the new month’s plan to scale up all departments and expand their tentacles against the upcoming inflation of the currencies.
Mr Matthew responded, “we are solidly aware of these development sir and have developed a well-thought-out plan to ensure our backward integration does not get lopsided”.
“Excellent” Said, Mr White, leaning on his black leather seat big enough fit two persons, “strategic thinking Mr Matthew, I am impressed”.
Mr Nelson immediately nodded his approval to Mr Matthew’s idea, the team members, all wearing the look of shock wondered why Mr Nelson played nice in the presence of the CEO.
Mr White, ignoring the HR, addressed the team, “then, the meeting will be quick since the major point of discussion has been well thought out, Kudos Team. Let’s work together and execute fast as well. I will like to get the reports before the close of work today”. In unison the whole team echoed loud, “ Today?”…
