Interactivity is key in chatbot development, and JavaScript will be your tool for this. Create a new file called script.js
in the same directory. To ensure the chatbot functions properly, link this JavaScript file at the bottom of your HTML body using:<script src="script.js"></script>
Next, applying CSS styles to this structure is essential to create an aesthetically pleasing interface. Using CSS, you can define the appearance of the output area and input field, often enhancing the user experience.
A modern design might involve rounded corners, a calming colour palette, and clear typography. For example, you can set a background colour for the output area and adjust padding and margins to ensure text visibility.
