The National Grid has collapsed yet again, even as Nigerians await full power restoration, following the initial collapse earlier this week.
According to an update by Ikeja Electric Distribution Company, the grid collapsed at 11:29am today and it has affected supply to their network.
“Dear Esteemed Customer, please be informed that we experienced a system outage today, 7 November 2024, at 11:29 hrs, affecting supply within our network.
“Restoration of supply is ongoing in collaboration with our critical stakeholders.
“Kindly bear with us,” IKEDC said.
In a Similar Update, the Eko Electricity Distribution Company announced that it experienced a simultaneous loss of supply across its network around 11:29am.
“Kindly be informed that at precisely 11:2hrs of today 7th November 2024, we experienced simultaneous loss of supply across our network.
“A Potential system failure of collapse is suspected.
“We are currently working with our partners as we hope for speedy restoration of the grid,” EKEDC Said.
