The Enugu State Government has launched Enugu Café One, a world-class co-working space and digital hub, in partnership with Café One and the Enugu SME Centre.
This innovative space is designed to empower residents with cutting-edge resources, premium workspaces, and an inspiring environment that fosters productivity, networking, and digital innovation.
Strategically located in the heart of the city at 22, Okpara Avenue, Achara, CCB Building, Café One Enugu seeks to transform the work culture of entrepreneurs, innovators, and professionals, fostering collaboration and growth in Enugu State.
The co-working space was officially commissioned by Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, Secretary to the State Government, alongside other dignitaries, including Arinze Chilo-Offiah, Special Adviser on MSMEs & Digital Economy, and Kelechi Nwaozuzu, General Manager of Café One.
According to the State Government, the launch of Enugu Café One marks a significant milestone in the administration’s commitment to digital transformation.
“This is more than just a co-working space; it is a testament to our commitment to fostering digital transformation, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Enugu State.
“Through this partnership, we are equipping young entrepreneurs, creatives, and tech talents with the vital resources needed to thrive in an ever-evolving digital economy.
“This is how we create a future-ready Enugu—by investing in environments that nurture ideas and turn them into successful enterprises,” Onyia noted.
The space is envisioned as a hub where talent meets opportunity, and ideas are transformed into groundbreaking enterprises.
This initiative is part of the state’s efforts to drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth, as seen in other initiatives like the Enugu Startup Bill and the Enugu/FGN-ALAT Digital Skillnovation Programme.
