The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has announced a change in the commencement date for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration.
Initially set for January 31, the registration will now begin on February 3, 2025. This shift is intended to allow the Board to implement essential updates to its registration templates.
According to Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, the adjustments are necessary due to the recent suspension of certain law programs at selected universities, as submitted by the Council for Legal Education.
Additionally, some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers were found to have used deceptive facilities to gain approval, prompting further scrutiny and corrections.
JAMB acknowledges that this change may cause disruption to candidates and other stakeholders, and sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience.
The additional time will be used to ensure a smooth registration.
