MTN Scholarship for year 2021 is now open for youths, undergraduate and blind students, and entries close on August 15, 2021.
The Scholarship is under the Youth Development Cause, an annual award that seeks to recognize and reward qualified high performing students in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions.
It consists of three categories: MTN Science and Technology Scholarship, MTN Scholarship for Blind Students, and Top 10 UTME Scholarship.
MTN Science and Technology Scholarship is currently in its 12th year. It is open to eligible 300 level students studying Science & Technology-related courses, in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education). 300 successful students are awarded scholarships worth N200,000.00 annually til graduation if they maintain the required grades.
MTN Scholarship for Blind Students is in its 10th year. It is targeted at qualified 200 level blind students studying any course in Nigerian Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education). 60 successful blind students are awarded scholarships worth N200,000.00 annually till graduation if they maintain the required grades.
For the Top 10 UTME Scholarship that began in 2020. The top 10 scoring candidates of UTME, every year, as announced by JAMB, automatically qualify for scholarship. The successful candidates are awarded scholarships worth N200,000.00 from their 100 level through to graduation if they maintain the required grades. The Top 10 UTME Scholarship is awarded irrespective of the successful candidates’ preferred course of study or Tertiary Institution – Public or Private in Nigeria.

If you are a 300 level student studying Science & Technology-related courses, follow the steps below to submit your entry:
- Visit the registration form – https://foundation.mtnonline.com/scholarship/stss
- Fill in your personal information, which includes your passport photograph, with max file size of 4mb, and file types – .jpg, .png
- Fill In Your UTME Information, which includes your UTME Reg No.
- Fill In Your Institution Details, including your Matric Number.
- Enter your Next Of Kin Details
- Upon accepting terms and conditions, you should be able to submit application.
