The company is setting up electrical meter plants in Nigeria with a production capacity of 1.5 million meters annually designed to serve the local African market.
If you desire to install a MOJEC Prepaid Meter, you can either opt for a single phase or there phase one.
Once you have determined the type of Mojec Prepaid Meter that suits you, order from your electricity distribution company.
After acquiring your Mojec Prepaid Meter, you would need to activate it before you can start loading credit tokens.
Activation Of Mojec Prepaid Meter
After installing, An sms will be sent to your mobile phone within 72 hours (3 days).
If you haven’t received the SMS after 72 hours, Log on to your DisCo portal and request for an activation token.
For Ikeja Electric, customers, visit their portal – http://ie-payments.com/apps/ . Input your meter number and click the submit button. Activation token will be displayed instantly.
According to Ikeja Electric, if your meter does not require activation token, an error message will be displayed as shown below:
“Error Message: Your meter does not require activation token or meter has not been activated”.
Before you load the activation token, pair the meter by typing in the meter number, then press enter, it should display “successful”.
If your prepaid meter requires activation token, and you have gotten it, Type in the first 20 digits and press “enter”. Your Meter will display “succeed”. Type the next 20 digits and press “enter”. The meter will display “succeed”.
You are now good to start recharging your MOJEC Prepaid Meter.
Loading MOJEC Prepaid Meter
Credit units are purchased and typed on the meter’s customer interface unit screen. As you use electricity, your credit balance is reduced each day until the units are exhausted, prompting you to top up.
If you have the credit token and want to top up, Type in all 20 digits and press “enter”. Your Meter will display success, and you can start enjoying electricity till it finishes.
