If you have been having problems loading your Ikeja Electric (IE) energy token on your UIU, it’s because you haven’t been following the right steps.
Some IE customers have learnt the hard way, how to load their energy tokens. The most common errors are AAAAAAA (Conlog) and “Reject” (Mojec). According to Ikeja Electric, customers having difficulty loading token on their prepaid meter should follow the following steps:
Steps For Loading Energy Token/Reactivating Prepaid Meter
- Ensure there is power supply in your vicinity and your electricity source is Ikeja Electric (disconnect totally from generator, inverters or solar).
- Insert strong batteries (Duracell Preferably) behind the UIU device and ensure it is plugged directly to a socket regardless if you have supply or not.
- Input your meter number and press “Enter” (Ensure you get a Success or Done).
- Input the activation token.
- Input credit token and press Enter
For meters that start with: 042 and 43
- Ensure there is power supply in your vicinity and your electricity source is Ikeja Electric (disconnect totally from generator, inverters or solar).
- Insert alkaline batteries behind the UIU device.
- Input your meter number and press “Enter” (Ensure you get a Success or Done).
- Input the activation token.
- Input credit token and press Enter.
