Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) has announced the commencement of a 3-day Mobile MAP Metering Program for customers on Emene Feeders.
The metering program commences from Thursday Saturday 8, 2022 to Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Emene Service Center, by Mechanic Bus-Stop, Old Abakaliki Road, Enugu.
EEDC Customers on the Emene feeders in Enugu can utilise this opportunity to acquire a prepaid meter so as to avoid the hassles of estimated billing.
According to the official announcement by EEDC on their social media handle, the program runs from 9am to 4pm.
“The Mobile MAP Metering program will be taking place in Emene from Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th September, 2022 at the Emene Service Center, by Mechanic Bus-Stop, Old Abakaliki Road, Enugu. This is for customers on Emene 1, 2, and 3 Feeders.
“The exercise will commence each day from 9am to 4pm. There will be instant meter application, presurvey, issuance of demand note, and meter installation. Do you reside or own a business in the listed areas or have you just opened a new account?
“This is an opportunity for you to get metered. Make it a date with us at Emene Service Center, by Mechanic Bus-Stop, Old Abakaliki Road, Enugu. Come along with your valid identification card and a copy of your electricity bill. Note that we do not accept cash payment for meters. Payment is by transfer or with your ATM card (POS)”, EEDC stated on Twitter.
The price of acquiring a Single Phase meter from EEDC is NGN63,061.27, while the price of a three Phase meter is NGN117,910.69. All inclusive of VAT.
