The 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) program in Nigeria has commenced its cohort 3 and is now calling for applications.
This programme is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy, aimed at generating a pipeline of technical talent in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision of creating 2 million digital jobs by 2025.
Cohort 3 will train 90,000 fellows, and the program is executed in collaboration with hundreds of applied learning clusters, state governments, development agencies, and other key stakeholders.
The 3MTT Nigeria Programme is dedicated to empowering young Nigerians with cutting-edge technical skills in various fields. The program’s comprehensive curriculum covers twelve key areas, including:
The programme explores Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning which enables participants to develop intelligent systems and algorithms.
Additionally, the program offers training in UI/UX Design, teaching human-centered design principles for seamless user experiences. Data Analysis and Visualization equip participants with data-driven insights and visualization techniques. Data Science enables them to extract valuable knowledge from complex data sets.
Further specializations include DevOps, promoting efficient software development and deployment, and Game Development, covering game design, development, and publishing. Product Management teaches strategic planning and product lifecycle management.
The program also covers Quality Assurance, ensuring software reliability and testing excellence. Software Development focuses on building robust, scalable software solutions.
